The New Direction high school
completion program provides alternative educational direction for
Alaskan youth. Through mentoring, individualized attention, and
community partnerships students will receive focused services that
address their academic, spiritual, and emotional needs.
The personalized setting and encouraging atmosphere at New
Direction allows many students to catch up to grade level,
accelerate their High school program and earn their state of
Alaska high school diploma. Students are empowered to become
